Love is not Lust

Lust is the perverted reflection of love, the final goal of lust is personal satisfaction. Lust is manifested in a polluted way. We are afraid of love so we take shelter in lust. We want to be in position of being the controller, owner and enjoyer. People fear being alone, looking stupid and not being loved. For so many angles we are afraid to love. We fear missing out, the fear of not having enough, the fear of being empty inside. Loving surrender means, I am completely in your hands, surrendering guns and shields.

In lust, a person’s consciousness is one of protecting himself and getting things for himself. We feel we need to defend our own so-called happiness. By nature’s arrangement we are protective, we do not reveal our hearts and mind. If we are not careful, we just end up as naïve, exploited individuals. The same people who are afraid of loving are also afraid of being lonely. We feel we will suffer the greatest misery of having our love destroyed and smashed.
The very foundation of love is freedom. We can not have the best of both worlds. In love and lust, it will be either or but not both. It takes time to trust; faith is the forerunner of love. Our hearts open up more that we are willing to expose ourselves with all of our imperfections. Its only possible to be happy giving rather than receiving if you love. Love is the satisfaction in the love itself.

Love is one of the most favorite theme in the whole world yet it is also one of the most misinterpreted topic.
